How Do You Succeed In High School?
My article is about being successful in school. I have earned several graduate degrees, but I recall that it did not seem easy to please teachers when I was young. Once I learned the key to success, school became a pleasure. High school students can follow this advice and succeed even in today’s world of standardized testing. The first key to being successful in school is to have a pleasant personality. Students will be much more successful if they have a respectful attitude toward their teacher and their peers. Although students should participate in classroom discussions, they should stick to the topic of the day and give the appropriate signal to the teacher indicating that they would like to talk or ask a question. Just as employers would much prefer to hire cooperative employees, teachers do appreciate students who know how to behave and be respectful.
