Can You Run Windows 7 On an iPad?
I have found the following article that suggests it will: http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/188162/windows_7_on_an_ipad_yes_you_can.html
Good Luck
As of now, the only operating system that can run on the iPad is the Apple software of the iPhone (both on the iPad and iPod Touch). You can’t even run Windows and Mac programs on your iPad unless their makers produce iPad versions of the product. See: How do you put files on your iPad?
However, the iPhone software comes with hundreds of thousands of apps that are completely compatable with the iPad. There are even some apps that allow you to control your Mac or PC from your iPad, which means that you can run programs on your computer from your iPad.
The main issue is that of multitasking. Apple has blocked the iPad (iPhone, and iPod Touch) from being able to multitask past the occasional email notification. See: Can my iPad multitask?
In an ideal world, the iPad would be able to replace the laptop, but in the real world, it has a long way to go. There are rumors of some programs that you can put on your iPad to run computer operating systems, but officially, Apple has not made any.
