This group feels the city has not really looked at the root cause(s) of the levy failure. The city blames the November failure on the ballot title and wording of the ballot measure. However, the wording and title directly and specifically addressed the stated term of replacing general fund support for the Fire Department. Nothing has been provided by the city showing anything has changed since November, except the ballot title and the amount of new taxes they want.
