Did you know that 4 out of the 21 service plazas on the PA Turnpike offer farmers markets? The remaining two are at the New Stanton and the Sideling Hill Service Plazas both located in western PA. With the PADA Foundation’s administration of the Make Time for Health grant from the Attorney General and our cookbook, Soup & Ladle Favorites, the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association and Foundation is in a unique position to join the Department of Agriculture promoting consumers’ consumption of fruits and vegetables.
