I’m assuming by “original books” that you mean first editions, and at any given time there are lots of first editions of L. Frank Baum books on the internet. You can find them on: abebooks.com alibris.com ilab-lila.com abaa.org biblio.com bibliopoly.com and lots of other places. You can even occasionally find them on ebay. But to build a collection of first edition Baum Oz books will take a lot of money–and considerable time to find some of the scarcer items. You can pay $50,000 or more for a beautiful first edition of ’The Wizard of Oz,’ with all the points of the first state. A number of the other Baum titles are also worth thousands or hundreds of dollars. If you are seriously interested in putting together a Baum collection, I would recommend that you get a Baum bibliography, because determining first editions and their points can be especially tricky with this author.
