NetIDme is a secure, digital identification service for internet users. Once verified, you’ll get your own unique Net-ID (your digital identity token) which you can use to: • Identify yourself online by displaying your age, gender, and regional location to other web users • Allow NetIDme to ‘vouch’ for your identity to a third party on your behalf, removing the need for you to disclose any personal information to the third party, • Request that NetIDme provide specific verified information to a third party service on your behalf, • Access age appropriate content, or purchase age appropriate goods online, (for example over 18 services such as gambling, under 16 networking sites, or over 15 goods such as some DVDs/games).
