Where Is Denim From?
I watched a long time ago an episode on discovery or something like that about the making of the first jeans. Well I don’t know if this will help you much, but I think a man named Levi invented it for the working man. They needed pants that could survive a lot. They also needed some extra holding in places that jean were faster. That is when they put in those little metal pieces around the pockets. I believe he got the material from a tent that was made of denim. So I can tell you were denim came from, but I do know a little about the first jeans.
