How Do You Make Soap Scum Remover?
Soap scum is a menace to any home cleaner who has to deal with bathrooms. It is the product of a buildup of soap and human fats and oils that were removed during a wash. It gathers on the floors, walls, and tubs of bathrooms and can be very hard to remove. However, with the proper household ingredients, you can easily put together your own homemade soap scum remover that works just as well as anything you might purchase in the store. Gather materials and measure out the following: 1/2 cup baking soda, 6 cups water, 1/3 cup ammonia and 1/4 cup vinegar. Combine all materials and mix together until blended well. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and close the cap tightly to prevent any from spilling out, or from unnecessary air or other materials from entering. Apply mixture to soap scum and wait a few minutes for the scum to break up and dissolve. Wipe away soap scum and repeat the process if any remains.
