What is a TPMS activating tool ?
This is a Tool that lets you activate the wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor mounted within your tire. Indeed, those sensors when delivered to your car repair shop, or tire repair shop are left in “sleep” mode. That is because they carry an internal battery that TPMS manufacturers do not want to drain while being in storage. To “Activate” or “Trigger” those sensors, you need a specially designed tool that will send a signal at a special frequency that will “activate”, or “trigger” the sensor.
