How and when did Bill Hicks die?
Bill Hicks died from pancreatic cancer on February 26, 1994. He had a tumor the size of the head of a pencil that was metastasizing and cancer cells were flowing downstream from the pancreas. He went through a period where his tumor was actually getting smaller. Then suddenly it turned around and got bigger again. From what I have heard, from the moment the doctors diagnosed him there was absolutely no hope for Bill. But of course, Bill fought it, and I thought it really looked like he was going to beat it for a while. However it got to the point where what he was saying versus how he looked was rough on all of us.
