The F.A.C.E.S. Program offers a playgroup for birth to three year olds and their parents, who reside in the Edwardsville School District. In order to be eligible for playgroup, the child must still be two on September 1st of the current school year. Playgroup is held weekly through the school year at the Family and Child Development Center of Edwardsville High School. Playgroups are attended by children with their parents or legal guardians. Registrations are not taken for grandparents or other caregivers. The fee for playgroups is $25.00 per semester. This should not, however, deter anyone from applying as fee waiver paperwork is available. Playgroups currently meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:00. Those joining playgroup sign up for one day or the other and always attend that group. We are assisted in playgroup by the high school students who are taking the ECHO 1 class.
