How Do You Install A PVC Fence?
If you want a fence that is both attractive and low maintenance, you may want to go with PVC, or polyvinyl chloride. A PVC fence is fairly weatherproof, lightweight when compared to wood or metal fencing and easy to install. In fact, you should be able to install the fencing in a modest-sized yard of an 1/8 of an acre or less in a 24-hour period, allowing for concrete dry time. Just pick a day when it isn’t raining. Choose where you want your fence to go and put your first stake where you’d like the fence to begin. Push it into the ground gently so that at least 1/3 of the stake is in the dirt. Tie one end of your clothesline to this stake and, holding the other end, walk to the spot where you’d like the second stake to go. Pull the string taut in such a way that it is parallel to the path it will run. Then place your stake in alignment with the string. Put it in the ground and wrap the string around it. Check that the string bends at a right angle as you turn that first corner. Repeat
