What is Bush Watch?
Bush Watch is a community-based crime prevention program aimed at the prevention and detection of offences both on public and private land. The initiative encourages forest users to report suspicious criminal activity and vandalism to the Police and also makes forest users more aware of the consequences of their actions when in the bush. The program covers a range of criminal activity including detection of marijuana crops, theft of flora and fauna, criminal damage, vandalism and unlawfully setting fire to property or bush. When you provide information to Bush Watch you don’t have to give your name and any information that leads to an arrest and conviction can earn a reward. You can help to keep the bush safe for everyone to use.
