What is a humidifier?
Humidifiers are an appliance that you can buy at most drug or home stores. The main purpose of a humidifier is to put humidity in the air that would otherwise be dry. Especially during the winter months, the air in your house could be dry which leads to your skin and mucous membranes being drier than normal. Believe it or not a home that is lacking humidity can feel colder at the same temperature than one that runs a humidifier.
