What is Digimon
Digimon: Digital Monsters, is a cartoon. Many people compare it to Pokemon. The cartoon was originally released in Japan. But like Pokemon has traveled across the ocean to invade the homes of young American children. The show is currently into it’s second season here in America. In the show a group of children, boys and girls, travel into a digital (computer) world to become pals with the digimon creatures. The creatures evolve into larger forms with special powers to battle each other to allow the forces of good rather than evil rule the Digital World. And recently they have crossed over into the “real” world. The creatures are divided into different types like virus and data. Each creature began as an egg, hatched into a fresh, and when given the proper care and stimulus Digivolves into its In-Training, Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, and Mega forms. With each stage the creature gets a new look and addition attack options. At the end of battle they go back to thier In-Training or Rookie
