Are earwigs poisonous?

Yes, they can bite, but it really doesn’t hurt that much, just a little pinch and not enough to draw blood. They are not poisonous at all if they do bite or pinch you, not even if you eat quite a few of them (my little brother did when he was 3 or 4 and my older brother talked him into it as a mean joke.) We had tons of earwigs around our pool and they wont bite you unless you are really messing with them. They can land on you, you can wrap in a towel with them in it and they will jump off you. They are not aggressive. We were bitten only when playing with them.
