Why Bluetooth Headphones?
The Bluetooth headphone offers advantages such as convenience, comfort and best of all, tangle free operation. Additionally, unlike other wireless headphone products, Bluetooth headphones do not require an installed software driver. Moving forward, bluetooth technology is likely to build on its inherent strengths — small-form factor radio, low power, low cost, built-in security, robustness, ease-of-use, and ad hoc networking abilities. There are some disadvantages to this technology such as a lower range then some dedicated wireless headphones, only few Bluetooth headphones offer high quality audio, dropouts are still an issue and battery life is not optimal. Currently few mp3 players offer Bluetooth support, however, this is likely to change in the future since Bluetooth headphone technology is a globally available standard.
