What is the final step?
It is finally time for the last step! Academic Progress/Processes/Internal Course Conversion Select option #4 – Post new course numbers defined by LEA Up until this point, no course numbers have actually been changed. Posting new course numbers will use the information in the table to modify all information within the SIMS database relating to course information. This includes current courses, historical data, master schedule, and course options. All data will be changed to reflect the new internal course numbers. This is a time-consuming process. Once the included backup step is completed, the process can be left unattended. DO NOT SKIP THIS BACKUP. The course conversion process will conclude with a reorganization, and your internal course numbers are now converted and comply with the standards set by NC WISE.
