The GBI is a new voluntary program developed by the North Coast BIA and HBA of Greater Cleveland to promote and facilitate practical approaches to green construction. Our goal is to make your business stand out in the marketplace. We will give you all the tools you need to implement green building strategies that work for you, and to market green homes to your customers. Northeast Ohio GBI certifies homes that are built to our standards for performance, efficiency, sustainability, and health. A certified home earns a bronze, silver, or gold rating based on the green building practices and materials utilized by the builder. NEOGBI certification gives the builder and the homeowner a clear and quantitative measure of a home’s green features.
