The best thing you can use to treat scalp scabs is tea tree oil. It is an oil that can be bought for around $10 to $20 in a pharmacy or large retail store. The good and authentic oil can be found in an herbal store. You can mix the tea tree oil in with your shampoo or you can pour it directly into your hand and then rub it through your hair and onto your scalp. The tea trea oil will dry up the scabs and with continued use prevent them from reoccuring. If the scalp scabs do not go away after about 2 weeks contact your doctor.
