Where is the best place to buy a Wii console?
Even assuming a store will allow you to return the unit if it’s defective will they have a replacement available or will they just offer a refund (leaving you back at square one). Best Buy most likely will offer you a service contract on the unit (the extra year’s warranty) but in most cases, service contracts are a waste of money and very hard to utilize. I’ve never seen any retailers which are offering free games with a normal suggested retail price Wii (the unit will sell alone at retail price, so no incentive is really required for them). I’d suggest to keep the unit you purchased from Game Stop and enjoy it…from my experience I haven’t heard of an epidemic of problems with the Wii that would make me worry about it’s reliability.
