How to solder copper?
Soldering copper is actually very simple. You take the two pieces you want to solder together and lightly sand down the surfaces that will be touching together. You then put flux on those same surfaces and join the pieces together. Unroll some of the solder and lay it around the pipe seam that you are soldering together. Next, turn on your torch and heat up the solder so it melts into that same seam, going all the way around the pipe. Immediately put it in cold water to set the solder and you are finished!
