How Do You Make Troll Doll Clothes?
You may have one troll, you may have 20. But most all of them come naked. Though they don’t have a living personality, clothes you make can set any possible mood for them. • Measure your troll. • Get a tape measure, a piece of paper, and a pencil and measure your troll. Measure areas like height (not counting hair), arms, legs, waist, head, etc. Do this a couple times for accurate results. • Think of what mood you want to achieve. Do you want your troll to look good or evil, royalty or servant, etc. • Get your materials. Find a kind of fabric that is easy for you to work with, is pretty, and somewhat soft. Who would want to wear pieces of sandpaper all day? Also get a color that complements your troll. Most colors will. Determine whether or not you want your trolls clothing to be removable or permanent. Cute little buttons or ribbon ties for removable clothing are ideal. If you want clothes permanent, sew them together while on the troll.
