How Do You Use Blue & Rust Remover?
Maintaining an antique gun is a bit of an art. Surface rust can form on the barrel and trigger area, which is unsightly and detracts from the overall appearance. But there’s a product, Blue & Rust Remover, which is able to clean the gun and prevent rust from growing more rust, which improves the looks. Applying it isn’t too bad, either. Disassemble the gun and clean the barrel and trigger assembly using a sponge that’s soaked with cleaner/degreaser. This will clean the metal on the gun and prepare it for the Blue & Rust Remover. Apply the Blue & Rust Remover over the entire surface of the gun using the swab included in the bottle and let it work for two minutes. Pour some of the Blue & Rust Remover onto a steel wool pad and polish the metal so you can remove any previous cleaning or bluing agents.
