How Do You Use 100% Mineral Oil?
Mineral oil, or rock oil as it was previously known, is a multi-functional oil derived from petroleum. It is a food-grade item that can be found in many drug stores, as well as in craft stores, beauty supply shops and grocery stores. Its uses are various and many, ranging from medicinal to industrial. Its applications in cosmetics and body care are especially popular. It can be used alone as a moisurizer, or as an ingredient in easy and budget-friendly beauty concoctions such as the one in Section 1. It is also commonly used as an oral laxative, as described below. Combine four drops each of all of the essential oils including the rose hip oil into the plastic lotion bottle, and set it aside. Use separate pipettes for each essential oil. Mix 1/2 cup of beeswax beads and 1/2 cup of 100% pure mineral oil in a small glass bowl.
