What means self-cleaning?

There are three kinds of stains: hydrophilic, oleophilic and chemical reactive. If a surface is hydrophilic, water soluble stain or mildew will bond to the surface. If a surface is oleophilic, a hydrocarbon oil intimate stain will bond the surface. If the surfaces are unstable toward the chemicals, the chemical reactive stain will bond the surfaces. Fluoro-urethane coated surfaces are hydrophobic and oleophobic (oil repellent), and chemical stable. That is why the fluoro-urethane coated surfaces are stain resistant. Our specially formulated 2k fluoro-urethane have micro-and nanometer perfluoro-particles that mimic natural self-cleaning surfaces of Asian lotus. The perfluoro-particles provides extra hydrophobic and oil repellent properties. They are very easy to keeping cleaning.
