How are two-way mirrors used?
Most people’s familiarity with two-way mirrors comes from television shows such as Law and Order or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in which detectives watch a suspect undergo interrogation. Police officers do, in fact, use two-way mirrors in this manner, but they are by no means the only people who purchase two-way mirrors. In fact, a wide variety of businesses use two-way mirrors. Post offices, warehouses, show rooms, banks, department stores, and day cares all often have two-way mirrors. Their purpose in these locations is usually to give employees the impression that at any moment their supervisor could be watching them, so they should always work well.
