How can I open my .tif files using eFax Messenger?
A TIFF file, denoted by the .tif extension, can be opened with many programs, including Imaging (the default Windows TIFF viewer) and eFax Messenger. If you don’t wish to use Windows Imaging, you can set your File Association to eFax Messenger, by performing the following steps: • Save the fax to your Desktop. • Find the fax file on your Desktop and Right-Click on it. • From the menu that appears choose Open With…. This will bring up a list of all available programs. • Select Choose Program from the list. • Browse through the list of available programs and choose eFax Messenger. • Check the box that says, “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.” • Click OK. • When you open your .tif files, they will be automatically displayed in eFax Messenger.
