Doctors and scientists are not sure what causes these imbalances. It is thought that Seroquel XL helps to create a better balance of these brain chemicals. Seroquel XL can help you manage your symptoms and feel better. Because of this, it is very important that you take your doses of Seroquel XL as instructed by your doctor. How is Seroquel XL® given? • Seroquel XL is taken once a day. • Seroquel XL should be taken without food, at least one hour before a meal. Your doctor will tell you how many Seroquel XL tablets to take each day. Follow your doctor’s instructions about when and how to take your tablets. • Swallow your tablets whole with a drink of water.
