This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness. How To Use Guaifenex Pse Take Guaifenex Pse by mouth. It should be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take Guaifenex Pse as directed. Do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
