How Do You Make Snow Globe Jars?

0

These little snow globe jars are so cute. They are great as a homemade gift, or party favor. The best part is that you can recycle all of those old jars that you have around the house. This project would be a great classroom activity for Christmas, with teacher assistance. The figurines are fairly easy to find at many dollar and retail stores, as well as crafting stores. First make sure that the jar is clean before making your snow globe. Now glue the figurine to the inside of the jar lid using the epoxy glue. Next fill the jar all the way to the top. Now you can add food coloring if you want to color the water. Carefully tap two drops (no more) of liquid glycerine into the water. Shake in a generous amount of glitter. Now apply a thin line of the epoxy glue to the inner edge of the lid. Place the lid on the jar and tighten. You may have to dry the outside of the jar if some water spills when you add the lid. Now turn the jar over and shake.
