Collect empty tissue boxes with an opening on the top to use as the base for the mailbox. Measure out enough construction paper or solid color fabric to cover the entire box. Doing one side at a time is usually easiest, particularly if you have letter-size construction paper. Glue evenly across one side of the tissue box and then cover with construction paper or fabric. Allow to dry. Repeat for each side, the top and the bottom of the box. Allow the box to dry overnight before moving onto the next step. Make a mailbox flag from red construction paper or craft foam. Attach the flag to the covered tissue box with one of the round head fastene
