Who is BOYD Flotation?
Boyd was started by Mr. Denny Boyd back in the mid 70’s as a retail bed store in St. Louis, MO. As time went he added first one store, and then another until he had over 70 stores in the region. At one point he started running into product supply problems because he first exceeded the capabilities of normal distributors and then even manufacturers. To meet the waterbed demand he had in his stores he needed a solution so he created Boyd Flotation to manufacture hardside waterbed products. As time went on Boyd Flotation branched out into waterbed products.
