The tray card is piece of paper that is fixed inside the jewel case, underneath the CD. It contains the art for the back of the case when the case is closed and the art for the spines. It costs no more to print on both sides of this piece of paper and use a clear tray. When this is done there is another panel, fully visible when the CD is removed from the tray.
