How Do You Clean A Crystal Decanter?

0

Stubborn stains can be tough to remove from delicate crystal decanters. Scrubbing is out of the question as it can scratch the surface of the decanter and harsh chemical cleaners can damage your crystal treasure. Denture tablets are gentle, non-abrasive cleaners that are more than capable of lifting stains from your decanter and other crystal items. This simple cleaning method will leave your stained crystal sparkling and looking like new. Fill the crystal decanter with hot water, up to about 6 inches from the top. Drop the denture tablets into the decanter and swirl the water around while they fizz. Allow the decanter to soak for at least six hours, swirling the water around periodically to distribute the cleaning formula. Gently scrub the inside of the decanter with the bottle brush, focusing on any stains that remain on the crystal. Empty out the decanter, rinse it with warm water and allow it to air dry. If any stains remain, repeat the procedure.
