What does full bleed mean?

0

Full bleed is printing from one edge of the paper to the other without the standard borders by which most personal printers are limited. (To check if your printer is full bleed capable, you can download and print the full bleed test pdf) If your printer is not full bleed capable, you will need to trim the paper after printing to ensure the ink runs fully to the edge and does not stop short of it.

After both sides of the paper are printed, it gets trimmed to specific measurements. Any ink color that should go to the edge of the paper should extend 1/8 beyond the trim marks shown in the templates. This ensures that no unwanted white edges appear after trimming is completed.
