Make sure they agree to keep it a secret. • Make a base. Consider what you need, whether it will be permanent, and how much money and effort this is going to take. If you plan to keep belongings in the base, you need to make sure that nobody (and nothing) will be able to find or take them, so a small, unused building you have permission to use (e.g. an empty shed or a treehouse) is ideal, or a natural shelter like a cave or a forest clearing.
