Can a user download a database with his or her desktop computer and copy it to a laptop to carry out to an airplane for the update?
Yes. Simply copy the files onto media and copy it to the laptop. The GPS Database Loader program will need to be on both computers. If the file is too large for the selected media (e.g. diskette), it may be necessary to split the file within the GPS Database Loader program (“File Splitting Option”).
