How Do You Fix A Sticky Zipper?
Nothing can ruin a camping trip like a zipper that won’t close. But before you run out to spend money on a replacement, follow these simple tips to unstick that zipper Step 1 Identify the “problem area” on the zipper. In other words, find the spot where the zipper either gets stuck or stops zipping. Pull the zipper back away from this area. Step 2 Apply some dish soap to your index finger and thumb and run your soapy fingers along the problem area. Step 3 Slowly zip the zipper back across the problem area. Once this area is cleared up, run soap along the rest of the zipper to avoid the problem in the future. If you use the tent often, it’s a good idea to do this procedure often, especially in sandy desert conditions.
