A Yardman snowblower is a great machine, and some are real classics. Many old Yardman snowblowers are still in use today. They do have some minor common problems, like the inability to start after a long summer indoors. If you own one but it is not working properly, you will need some basic tools in order to fix it. Step 1 Inspect the fuel line that leads from the carburetor to the engine cylinder. This line must be free of cuts, bends and debris. Step 2 Remove the fuel line by removing the circular clamps that connect the line to the engine nozzle and carburetor with a screwdriver (if the clamp is still attached). Insert a small wire brush or pipe cleaner into the hose to clear blockage. Step 3 Reattach fuel line to the engine and carburetor using the clamps you removed in Step 2.
