How Do You Mend A Car Headliner?
A detached headliner in a vehicle makes the car look old or worn out. Repairing the car headliner is an easy way to keep your car looking new. Often, the adhesive between the top of the car and the headliner comes loose making bubbles appear in the headliner. Mend your car’s headliner with the right equipment in less than 1 hour. Step 1 Loosen the back edge of the headliner. This is piece in front of the rear window. If you cannot get it to come off completely, use a box cutter or scissors and cut along the top edge. Step 2 Pull the liner down until the air bubble is part of the hanging headliner. Step 3 Spray adhesive generously over the back of the headliner in 1 foot sections at a time. Purchase heavy-duty car at an auto parts or hardware store. Step 4 Stretch the liner across the top of the car pressing out any bubbles as you go.
