How Do You Take The CCRN Exam?
Critical care registered nurses, or CCRNs, provide critical care to patients in all walks of life. Becoming a CCRN is a reward within itself, as you help those in need at such critical stages in their lives. Whether that help is received as an infant or as adult, you, the CCRN, are there for them. But before you become a CCRN there are certain steps you need to take. For instance, you have to take the CCRN exam. How to Take the CCRN Exam Step 1 Become a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Members are entitled to a discount on the cost of the CCRN exam. For additional discounts that may apply to you, see the AACN website. Step 2 Apply for the exam. You need to fill out the application for the CCRN exam. You will be required to pay the exam fee which is $220. Return the application to AACN. Step 3 Take the exam. The AACN will mail you a card informing you where and when you will need to take your CCRN exam.
