If you want to learn how to become a car designer, you will need more than talent at drawing pictures. Car design is actually one of the most difficult design careers to break into. There are many things you need to know before entering school to become a car designer. Step 1 Apply at more than one school offering car design classes. Visit the schools in advance and talk to students attending the car design classes to find out exactly what can be learned there. Some schools are close to car companies and will take strong direction from them, so decide if this fits with what you want.
