Choosing a fabric that coordinates with the room and decor can be the hardest part. Almost any material can be used to cover the cornice board and you will be on your way to creating a perfect and inexpensive window topper for your room. How to Cover Shaped Cornice Boards Step 1 Measure the front width, height and sides of the cornice board, adding one inch to each section. This will be the fabric and batting measurements. Step 2 Cut the fabric and batting to the appropriate measurements. Leave the extra one inch to accommodate for mistakes. Step 3 Lay the batting on a flat space and apply the spray adhesive to the back of it. Step 4 Place the cornice board upside down in the middle of the batting. Press the batting down on all sides of the board and smooth out all
