How Do You Make Dry Ice Bubble?
A spooky cauldron with dry-ice “smoke” pouring over the edges adds a realistic touch to any Halloween display. Try this simple recipe for a dry-ice bubble that will resemble a mysterious smoke-filled crystal ball. Step 1 Fill the glass half-full with water. Step 2 Add the piece of dry ice, which will start to bubble. Step 3 Using your fingers, spread a layer of bubble solution around the rim of the glass. Step 4 Wet your hand or a paper towel with the bubble solution and smear it over the top of the glass so that it makes a film over the bubbling water. Step 5 Stand back and watch the smoke-filled bubble grow. Because it is filled with carbon dioxide from the dry ice and not air, the bubble will last a fairly long time.
