What is Hydroplaning?

That is a very slippery subject. Hydroplaning happens on wet roads. The tires treads become water logged and cannot grip the road. So basically when this occurs although the tires are spinning, the car is sliding on the wet road. Once the tires are able to grip the road, the driver can easily lose control. Never ever drive in wet conditions with cruise control engaged. This is a recipe for diaster. Televions tends to make hydroplaning seem less dangerous. But in reality it can kill.
