What is postprandial hypodynamia or PPH?

Defining PPH From the research conducted it was found that people with diabetes have a persisting habit to have a passive rest after a meal when their body takes horizontal or near-horizontal position on the back or near it. In order to summarize this behaviour from the medical standpoint and call it as a single term, “postprandial hypodynamia” appeared to be as the best option.
