What are Synchronous and Asynchronous?
Synchronous courses are those where all students must login at specific time designations like a face-to-face course. This type of online course is rare. They rely on live textual based chats, video conferencing, or live audio chats to hold group classes. The Asynchronous course does not rely on live meetings because of the diversity of students. This type of course relies heavily on virtual presentations, multimedia learning activities designed by the content experts, and discussions for content delivery.
