How Do You Build A Trash Can Composter?
Composting is when you put biodegradable products such as food scraps in a bin for them to rot (literally). Some composters have worms to break down food while others do not, maybe because of the enzymes in the products help it biodegrade. Follow the steps and tips to figure out how to make a composting bin. • Find a trash can, preferably one with a lid. • Fill the trash can with 1 to 5 gallons with mud depending the size of the bin. • At earthworms into your composter as they help break down the biodegradable products faster. This is optional, though. • Store your composter in a warm place such as a basement or a garage. • Feel free to add your food scraps, paper, yard waste, or anything that biodegrades into your composter. Once it is done biodegrading, what will remain are nutritional dirt-like remains that are good for your garden.
