Who is Eligible to Join the VFW?
The VFW welcomes everyone who is a US citizen, was honorably discharged, or is currently serving in the U.S. armed forces, and meets at least one of the follow criteria: • Was awarded a campaign or service medal for serving overseas in a combat zone; • Served 30 consecutive days, or a total of 60 days, in Korea; or • Received Imminent Danger/Hostile Fire Pay.Member Benefits Members receive a free subscription to VFW Magazine; discounts on hotels, car rentals, and computers; and no-cost personal accident insurance, to name just a few.
